Here is Cameron with Joss Whedon at a screening of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-along-blog. Joss Whedon also directed The Avengers. Cameron is dressed up as Dr. Horrible. Dr. Horrible was played by Neil Patrick Harris and you can see how much his costume looked like the real thing. I made Cameron’s costume and am very proud of how it turned out.

Fun fact of the day: A crocodile cannot stick its tongue out.

 Cameron had a science project about earthquakes earlier this year. He had to make a board describing different kinds of earthquakes and how they affect the land. At the last minute, he told me that he could get extra credit for visiting the San Andreas Fault which runs north to south in California. So, at 6:00 in the morning, we set out and drove 90 minutes so I could take a couple of pictures of him standing in front of the fault. You can see the San Andreas Fault behind him- it is the ridge of hills right there. Then we drove home. I guess it’s what mommies do so that their kids can get some extra credit. Whew!

Problem of the day: What is the medical name of the bone in the human body indicated below?

 This is a project that Cameron did in second grade. He had to do a model how fossils formed (on the top) and a diorama of a dinosaur habitat. I helped him with the cutting, but he did the painting and modeling and writing himself. Oh, and I did have to buy the materials.

Fun fact: In most advertisements, including newspapers, the time displayed on a watch is 10:10.

 This is a picture of me with Ed Helms. I met him when I visited the set of The Office. He is also the star of the Hangover movies. He was very nice.

 This is a picture of me dressed up for a Christmas festival. I’m a jester dressed in red and green. I still have the costume in a box that is stored in my garage. My mom made it for me- she is very talented at many different things.

Fun fact of the day: Donald Duck comics were once banned in Finland because he doesn’t wear trousers.
