Tuesday Tarantulas

This fuzzy creature is an arachnid, or spider. All spiders have eight legs. Tarantulas are generally not poisonous to humans, and some people even keep them as pets!

Cameron plays the goal keeper (goalie) on his lacrosse team. He gets hit with the ball a lot. He has many bruises on his arms and legs. He loves it better than any other position though. I think Cameron is an awesome lacrosse player. In this picture, you can see him saving a ball. Can you find the ball?

    1. It’s an equivalent fraction problem. Multiply the numerator and denominator on the left by the same number (fraction equivalent to one) to get the number on the right. To go the other way, divide. You can get help in solving it, just not being given the answer….

  1. The problem was easy but I hope I got correct though. My uncle had two tarantulas, but they both died. One more thing I think I found the ball in the picture. Is it close to Cameron’s hair?
